If you would understand Interstellar, you would also like Dilwale ....
The movie is a quite wholesome in every element. This is the kind of Bollywood Rom-Coms which is missed these days. Its the movie which has high repeat value and still you don't get bored. Many criticize it for its cringe theme and dialogues, but there are far many good things. Everything is perfect and natural from engaging story, music, songs, romance between SRK and Kajol, Comedy, etc. I want to special mention the songs which just gets struck in your mind. They are so beautiful. Pritam has brilliantly composed each and every song. BGM Music especially Janam Janam's verse in different tunes throughout the film is just solid. Apart from SRK and Kajol, Varun and Kriti also have a cute chemistry between them. All the supporting characters in the film are funny in comedic gags. There is an uniqueness to story too. Songs are still in my playlist too and I hear them often.
In 2015, fans of SRK along with the public filled the theaters, eager to see what Dilwale had to offer. The last collaboration between Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan, Chennai Express, captivated audiences as a fantastic entertainer. Unfortunately, the movie fell short of what was anticipated and did not exceed an average standard. The plot of Dilwale follows a very predictable path. Shah Rukh Khan's star power serves as the only foundation for it. The idea of depicting SRK as a don by Shetty is captivating, but a suitable environment was essential for the star to reach new heights. The film features Shah Rukh's presence as the most rewarding. Nevertheless, that's not sufficient. SRK and Kajol's entire flashback seemed rather boring because of the absence of exciting developments. The episode featured overly simplistic twists and drama, finishing on a low point. Both characters did not possess the intensity needed to shine in their performances. The track featuring Varun and Kriti was decent, with a few fun highlights. The entertainment value associated with Rohit Shetty's brand functions effectively in specific parts while integrating some emotional sequences. Boman Irani got wasted in a silly character. The songs were enjoyable, especially Gerua and Janam Janam.
