Apart from its ridiculous amount of silly and stupid stuff that happened in this movie (Im talking about a really weird way to kill off several characters and and god tier of coincidence and luck that the characters in this film has😭). I still enjoy this movie very much! Its not perfect but enough to keep me entertained and invested. Even though the plot has to be the weakest aspects in this film (I'am indeed disappointed) The character decision making in this movie are reasonable and actually makes sense. There's also severals unexpected characters dead that i didn't see it coming which makes my heart shatter a bit. The ending of this movie is for me perfect and reach it climax despite its disappointing build-up. Its not the best movie u can watch out there, but the one you watch when you want to feel like a Dwarf and Hobbit's, even an Elf. The trilogy after all isn't that bad. But yes, i felt like there's too many lazy writing in the script of The Hobbits trilogy. And i feel like they could do better than this. But this is what we got. And all we can do is sit back and relax. (And hope for another Tolkien Book's films😁)

Y por fin, la tercera parte de una adaptación de un pequeño libro llevado a su máximo esplendor. Leí de nuevo la novela hace un par de meses, pues recordaba poco sobre La Batalla de los 5 Ejércitos (ya que había leído la novela hace como 15 años), y la verdad es que con esta re-lectura me he dado cuenta de que las películas son una maravilla. Quitando escenas ¨flipada¨ como la de Legolas matando orcos mientras saltaba sobre las cabezas de los enanos en el rio en la película anterior, y el innecesario ¨romance¨ de la elfa y el enano, todo lo ¨inventado¨ por Peter Jackson me parece magnífico. Y llega el momento más interesante de la trilogía, empezando con el ataque del dragón a la ciudad del lago, y siguiendo prácticamente con la guerra, una película sin desperdicio llena de acción a un nivel epiquísimo, currada al detalle en cuanto a las batallas, y llevando lo escrito por Tolkien a un nivel absolutamente superior. Aquí no se puede echar en falta un argumento más elaborado, esta película es puro deleite visual de principio a final.

What is there to say really, this is a really well produced movie, with great CGI, great production design and on a visual level, it is really hard to fault. I just personally never really connected with The Hobbit movies, it was a hard one to review because it was definitely a good movie, just not one for me.
