“Might as well get a little tight. Won’t be around for the hangover” One of the best war movies ever, and my personal favorite. The weight and dread during this movie is so much, but you just keep watching because you don’t know what’s going to happen next. Probably in my top 3 or 4 Brad Pitt performances. Has to act like a hardass to keep his squad together but is breaking inside which is shown very early in the film. I love when he tells them to get to the tree line while he loads the gun, not wanting to involve him in his death. Brad is an underrated actor when it comes to a person fighting with themselves. Shia also really stands out to me as the God fearing gunner. His emotional range is amazing to see. Great film -R
