Fear Of The Unknown. This is how i think the movie trying to depict. Everything about this movie seems so slow, yet, so intense. Talking about the story of course there's some flaw and questions that remain unanswered, but, the representation of how the characters acts and think on certain situations is actually quite accurate. Including the dialogue in certain scenes that if you look closely you can see the details on what the character is trying to do in that scene. I personally think this movie is underrated because of how good the acting is and opening new vision that not every Sci-Fi movie about aliens needs tons of loud sound effects and eye-catching CGI.

Esta película llamó menos la atención de lo que debía, supongo que porque la gente no se esperaba nada muy allá, pero el ambiente de tensión y misterio durante todo el principio, y el miedo y la acción cuando ya se descubre el meollo hacen interesante la historia.
I think I enjoyed this movie a little more than I was expecting to. Signs manages to pack a bunch of different emotions into one film, jumpscaring me a few times, making me chuckle here and there, and Mel Gibson even managed to make me eyes a bit moist a couple of times. Speaking of Mel Gibson, he and Joaquin Pheonix are great in this movie, even when some of the dialogue may be a bit cheesy they manage to make it work. I think the biggest flaw of this movie is that the cgi is certainly outdated but I do think they do a good job of keeping it off screen or using tricks that make it not as noticeable. Some of the camera work in this movie also feels way before it’s time which I really appreciated. It’s unfortunate to see how downhill some of M. Night Shyamalan’s work has become because he’s very clearly talented and capable of making a good movie. Overall, Signs was a pretty cool little film that I definitely think everyone should see at least once and I do regret not seeing it sooner.
