This dialogue has the essence of this movie. “I think we can't go 'round measuring our goodness by what we don't do, what we deny ourselves, what we resist, and who we exclude. I think we've got to measure goodness by what we embrace, what we create, and who we include.”

Prepare your best hot chocolate to watch this! Watching this movie feels like reading an entertaining, mature story full of mischief and sweetness. Literally and figuratively speaking. The elaborate atmosphere between the photography and the soundtrack leave you immersed in a story that catches you and suddenly you are a child again wanting to know more details of a magical realism tale that you already know, but that you are dying to hear over and over again. Perhaps the cutesy will annoy certain palates, but in my opinion it is applied correctly, but not grandly. Good performances in general, despite having some doubts with some part of the cast. Recommended for a quiet winter evening and with a cup of hot chocolate in hand.
