I'm unsure why this movie was even made, because it is a really bad thriller. Sharon Stone and Jeanne Tripplehorn are gorgeous, so I believe many people - especially men - would watch this just for the sake of seeing them naked. While the performances are great, the story itself is ultimately uninteresting and self-important. Given that it's a 1992 movie, it's unsurprising that it portrays women, bisexuals and lesbians in an unrealistic, bordering on disrespectful way.
