The start of the journey for Raju Hirani in the feel-good genre began with Munnabhai MBBS and it gave a fresh start to Sanjay Dutt too in the comedy arena. Everyone across age groups loved this movie for the sheer happiness it brought to the audience while watching. The pair of Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi as Munna and Circuit became a huge hit. 4. Dear Zindagi


A fresh movie with an amazing on-screen pair of SRK and Alia playing their age groups, Dear Zindagi became a popular hit with a lot of young folks relating to it. It handled a tough topic in a way that the feel-good factor emerged well towards the end. The music of Amit Trivedi too was an important glue in the movie.

5. Dil Chahta hai


Dil Chahta Hai was a movie ahead of its time and that might be the reason for it not working at the Box office. But the directorial debut of Farhan Akhtar had a huge fan following and attained a cult status eventually. Zoya Akhtar later used a similar theme around 3 best friends for ZNMD which eventually was a bigger hit. 6. Khosla ka Ghosla


Khosla ka Ghosla directed by Dibakar Banerjee is one of the most brilliant Comical Satire ever made with a set of excellent actors in Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Ranveer Shorey and Vinay Pathak. You will not feel bored anytime even though you might be watching it for the umpteenth time.

One of the last few movies of Sridevi, English Vinglish too was a simple relatable story that struck the right chord with the audience. The pressure of knowing and speaking English as a language is so much for many people in different situations and belonging to different classes.
