The killing of his family and the civil strife that erupted after the India-Pakistan partition are real events in the life of "the Flying Sikh".

Mary Kom - 2014


As a five-time world amateur boxing champion, the daughter of a rice farmer from Manipur traces her own path to success. When she wins the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics, she also brings honour to India. The lead role is played by Priyanka Chopra and the film turned out to be a commercial success at the box-office.

Neerja - 2016


The movie is based on the life of air hostess Neerja Bhanot, who was killed on September 5, 1986, in Karachi by terrorists who had taken over a Pan Am flight. In this movie, Sonam Kapoor portrays the titular character, a 23-year-old flight attendant who gave her life to save the lives of 359 other passengers. The mother of Neerja is portrayed by Shabana Azmi. Shekhar Ravjiani, a musician, makes his acting debut as Neerja's love interest.

MS Dhoni - The Untold Story - 2016


The biopic on MS Dhoni, the renowned captain of India, played by Sushant Singh Rajput, is the cricketer's dedication to his supporters, friends, and family who supported him through success and adversity. The story is formed by their enormous contribution to realising his dream, his confidence in himself, and his capacity to overcome obstacles on the job and in his personal life.

Based on the lives of Mahavir Singh and his two daughters, Geeta and Babita Phogat, Dangal is an astonishing true story. Thackeray - 2019


The Shiv Sena, a new political organisation representing Maharashtrians, was founded by cartoonist Bal Keshav Thackeray, whose development is chronicled in this biopic. The lead role is played brilliantly by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The movie follows him on his political career and gives us a glimpse into his personal history. All of this occurs as Thackeray rises to prominence as Maharashtra's most powerful politician.
