But … Kitty’s growth, as she stays in Korea, feels close to her mom’s memories, and deals with the Dae situation, helps her grow and make friends in a new environment as she settles and finds her place. Her confused feelings, particularly as she navigates her sexuality makes her real and relatable in a way.
