Bueno, muy bueno este thriller de cine negro, con el dúo Bogart-Bacall que no falla, con esa química que hay entre estos 2 actores. Una historia intrigante, con algunas similitudes con la mismísima ¨Casablanca¨ (la ciudad francesa en la segunda guerra mundial, el bar, el pianista... creo que tuvieron intención de copiar el éxito de esta, pero ni de lejos llega al nivel, aunque sea muy buena película). La trama es interesante, aunque algo liosa, o al menos yo no entendí bien cual era el propósito de la gente a la que ayuda nuestro protagonista... aunque en verdad eso sea secundario. Tiene suspense, su tensión y una buena parte final. Vale la pena verla.

Bacall’s entrance and the way she clings to corners, the aggressive euphemisms, the action scenes on the boat, etc. Cons: - Eddie can get a bit grating as a character - While they’re very different tonally, this could be seen as a direct ripoff of the plot of Casablanca
