Survival, Vengeance, Adventure. The story is set in the 1820s. A frontiersman Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) fights for survival after an attack from a bear. His team members John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy), Bridger (Will Poulter) and his son Hawk (Forrest Goodluck) are with him. But later, after some incidents Fitzgerald and Bridger left him for dead and continued their journey to the village. What happens next is the rest of the story. For me, it is one of the best survival action adventure dramas watched. The performances of Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy are the pillars of the movie. Hugh Glass's struggle to live and his vengeance and Fitzgerald's list for money are the main factors in the story. The movie is filled with excellent DOP and bloodshed action sequences. Overall it's a must watch movie. TBH, like I said before, one of the best survival action adventure dramas watched recently.
