The other half is bad green screen, a so-so ensemble, and bad fake guitar playing for a musical number. I was also impressed by how many lines were reused for the Lohan remake (watched that right before this one) that I guess it's a nice homage. If you must watch it, this isn't the worst original, even though it has some problematic dialogue. Both versions are too long but if I had to pick one, I'd say the newer one is a bit better but still a messed up story to adapt to a movie. 273/500 movies & tv for 2024
