When the World turns its back on you, you turn your BACK on the world! This is the most complete/perfect animated movie ever no debate

It's getting hard to find different things to say about these Disney animated films, because they're all great for the same reasons. They just seem to have a formula for creating captivating characters and worlds based of the simplest ideas.

(EN)🇬🇧 In my most humble opinion....this is the biggest film that the Disney factory has made to date....what's more, I could say that here a giant step was taken in terms of plot and narrative in 2D animation. Let me explain... this film deals with themes such as death, betrayal, responsibility... they do not treat the little ones as fools who sugarcoat everything to camouflage these types of situations for them, but not only for this reason. What makes the movie enormous is the great quality of its animators, music, immortal characters and above all making a movie with heart and soul. Argumentatively it is the story of Hamlet but structured and starring lions and other animals of the African savanna. Our main character is Simba, a small lion heir to the throne, where his uncle Scar murders his own brother Mufasa and tries to kill Simba to take the position of King. Simba, devastated and presumed dead, will meet two friendly characters called Timon. and Pumba, where under the phrase HAKUNA MATATA! Simba will grow up with them without responsibilities and all kinds of comforts, but Simba has his destiny... and that is to become the true King. Visually, almost 30 years have passed and it is so timeless and so magnificent that it will be an immortal work for the rest of time. Enjoyable for both the little ones in the house and the adults. And I can't say goodbye without talking about the great soundtrack and the great Hans Zimmer....SPECTACULAR!!! (ES)🇪🇸 En mi más humilde opinión....esta es la película más grande que ha hecho la factoría Disney hasta la fecha...es más, podría decir que aquí se dio un paso de gigante en cuanto a trama y narrativa en la animación 2D. Me explico… esta película trata temas como la muerte, la traición, la responsabilidad… no tratan a los pequeños como tontos que endulzan todo para camuflarles este tipo de situaciones, pero no solo por eso. Lo que hace enorme a la película es la gran calidad de sus animadores, la música, los personajes inmortales y sobre todo hacer una película con corazón y alma. Argumentativamente es la historia de Hamlet pero estructurada y protagonizada por leones y otros animales de la sabana africana. Nuestro personaje principal es Simba, un pequeño león heredero al trono, donde su tío Scar asesina a su propio hermano Mufasa e intenta matar a Simba para tomar el puesto de Rey. Simba, devastado y dado por muerto, conocerá a dos simpáticos personajes llamados Timón. y Pumba, donde bajo la frase HAKUNA MATATA! Simba crecerá con ellos sin responsabilidades y con todo tipo de comodidades, pero Simba tiene su destino... y ese es convertirse en el verdadero Rey. Visualmente han pasado casi 30 años y es tan atemporal y tan magnífica que será una obra inmortal por el resto de los tiempos. Agradable tanto para los pequeños de la casa como para los mayores. Y no puedo despedirme sin hablar de la gran banda sonora y del gran Hans Zimmer....¡¡¡ESPECTACULAR!!!

There is without no doubt that The Lion King is my all time favourite Disney film of all time, my favourite animated film of all time and also one of my favourite films of all time! A film that only gets better with repeat viewings and age, The Lion King is a fantastic animated masterpiece that is among Disney's finest achievements! Stellar voice work, great musical score, beautiful to look at and emotionally complex and riveting. The story is something that everyone can relate to, whether they are a lion or not… Simba is destined to become king one day and just can't wait to rule the throne; everyone can relate to wanting to grow up and become an adult, to do whatever they want and not have to worry about anything! His father tries to teach him that, despite the fact that he will one day be grown and king, his life will not be easy. Simba has to learn his lesson the hard way when his Uncle Scar, who, too, wants the throne, kills his father and convinces Simba that it was his fault! Suddenly, growing up doesn't seem so great anymore! I can really relate to that… Not the whole my uncle killed my Dad thing but you get what I mean! The Lion King is a great teacher when it comes to learning lessons that will carry throughout everyone’s lifetime. The Lion King teaches children that it's alright to be a kid but you must understand and accept responsibility for things you can and cannot control! Everyone has a place in The Circle of Life and we must find it; the film also teaches us that we will encounter bad and even terrible things during our lifetime but we must accept them and move on. “The past can hurt. But from the way I see it, you can either run from it or... learn from it” “When the world turns its back on you, you turn your back on the world!” Ok maybe not that last one… These are still all important, meaningful lessons! The Lion King is a film for every generation and is a powerful film that all children should see! I'm past my childhood now and I still watch it whenever I get the chance, and I look forward to sharing it with my future children too.

As great as Disney and animation can get. Other films are on its level but it's in the GOAT conversation for me.
