As all the other passengers deny ever having seen her, she and a young musicologist must investigate Pros: - Blends genres and tones well; this is at times hilarious (with a VERY British sense of humor), at times brilliantly tense and suspenseful, and at times very romantic - Great chemistry between the two leads - The supporting characters are all interesting and nicely fleshed out, particularly Charters and Caldicott, a cricket-obsessed duo who want nothing more than for their journey to end so they can watch the next match in England - Visually stunning with cinematography that feels quite ahead of its time - Strong social commentary reflecting a Europe clearly on the brink of war, and the responses various citizens have based on their national allegiances. The commentary never feels forced, but once it’s introduced, it re-contextualizes the whole movie in a really interesting way - The slow beginning really works for me, it allows us to be introduced to our characters, feel immersed in their world, and understand the comedic tone of the film before crisis sets in Cons: - An extremely clunky fight scene - The ending feels pretty forced
