Alberti carries the director’s vision and works well for the film. The camera movements are always motivated and add depth to the scenes, keeping the audience’s attention riveted at the core parts of the film. The framing always stays with the central characters in the scene. While sound design, on the other hand, also brings a satisfying touch to the film. It is energetic, ambient, and sometimes motivating, complementing the scene. The sound works its magic in the background and feels connecting while improving the film’s overall look. The rest of the departments, such as production, nicely set up the story in the era when the things took place, while the editing smoothly shifts from one scene to another, making the movie connect with the audience well. Overall, the cinematography, sound, and the other departments do help to improve the film’s overall look.

"The Burial" gets the spirit of the ‘90s inspirational courtroom dramas just right, pitching down the middle to every demographic. It shouldn’t work, and yet it does thanks to sound filmmaking and entertaining performances. To be honest, the worst thing about it is the title. Is it too late to change that?
