La conclusión de la saga más famosa de la historia, y es digna de ello!!! Después de la anterior, que fue tachada de bastante comercial, George Lucas parece que leyó bastantes críticas y tomó en cuenta lo que querían sus fans, una película para ellos, una película friki para frikis, y ¡¡es lo que creó!!!! La mejor película de toda la saga, una obra de arte desde el principio hasta el final, desde ese principio lleno de acción y humor a raudales, la película nos conduce de una correcta manera, con una historia curradísima que se compeñetra con el antes y el después de la saga, una película en la que vemos como de una parte de humor la película va decayendo cada vez más en una espiral decadente, que llega hasta a deprimir al espectador, hasta un final triste, pero que todos sabíamos que llegaría (pues hemos visto la continuación). Una obra de arte friki del cine de ciencia ficción que tomará aún más respeto conforme pase el tiempo.

Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith is the best Star Wars film of the prelogy and my favorite of it. Both in its visuals, its characters, its fights, its music... The film is full of many qualities and has the merit of really connecting all the pieces of the prelogy to the original trilogy. The actors perform until the end of the prelogy, the final fight is just crazy enhanced by the music of John Williams, the lava sets of Mustafar and of course Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor at the peak of their respective performances. We can blame George Lucas for having rushed the character of Count Dooku a little but he was developed much more subsequently in the excellent series The Clone Wars which takes place between the 2nd and 3rd film. IN some ways, a film which concludes the prelogy wonderfully, with many qualities, some flaws in a prelogy hated by many fans and which will become appreciated over time.

Well there we go, Revenge of the Sith is probably what I wanted all three of these movies to be, I even think that maybe this trilogy would’ve been massively improved if they all took place around this same time *cough cough* the clone wars. But yeah this is easily the best in the this trilogy, it’s a lot more grand scale and epic. There’s great moments of banter between Anakin and Obi-Wan in the opening sequence. Anakin feels much more cooked as a character this time around, I still have the same complaints I did previously in terms of dialogue, they really don’t help Hayden at all with some of these lines. But it is less apparent here. His fall to the dark side along with order 66 was a hell of a sequence, although I wish it would’ve been set up better, the Jedi order really sucked because they could’ve been prevented man, I get that’s the point but come on, part of me was kinda happy when Mace windu got thrown out the window. Better than the first two in the trilogy for sure, this movie has the high ground with its grand scale conclusion.

The third movie of my Star Wars marathon after seven years, this movie, had a lot to live up to as the final installment of the prequel trilogy—and it certainly did! While the major political plays in motion throughout the film are on par with Episode II, what truly elevated it was Darth Sidious’ masterful manipulation of Anakin, which seamlessly tied into the bigger picture of Star Wars politics and made it fascinating to watch, especially for those who enjoy political intrigue. The battle sequences between the Republicans and the Separatists were beautifully crafted, with stunning use of VFX, particularly during the breathtaking opening space battle. The lightsaber duels were equally spectacular, many of which are regarded as the best in the prequel trilogy and perhaps the entire Star Wars franchise. Who can ever forget that amazing duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan with the fiery landscape in the background? Unless you got shot with a neuralyzer! Taking into account the entire prequel trilogy, the major highlight of this film was Anakin’s character development—from an innocent slave boy with a natural talent for building and fixing machinery, to becoming Darth Vader, with moments of immaturity, brilliance, and inner conflict woven throughout—making his journey both tragic and masterfully portrayed. While the film occasionally relied on coincidences to progress the plot, these moments were far less frequent compared to its predecessors and barely disrupted the narrative flow. Overall, Revenge of the Sith is a brilliant movie with compelling characters, unforgettable moments, and remarkable visuals—a beautiful conclusion to the prequel trilogy and one that truly defines the science fiction genre.
