Franchise has been consistently improving with each sequel in each aspects & mainly to please the audience to utmost satisfaction. Film was a bit shorter in run time than the second one which made it much tighter & almost no minute wasted in its 160 mins. Story was also better than the last ones comparatively though it's formulaic it works due to the characters & the engaging screenplay. Voice work was splendid it too, Keanu rocked with Shadow. Jim Carey had some great time as double egg man. His over the top performance was damn funny. Final act alone deserves special applause as it's so perfect with back to back awe moments. The fights, pay offs, VFx all come together for a blasting Last act which is exhilarating to core Red, blue, yellow, green keep it coming... Need more of these often

Many sequels go bigger but end up being worse than the original. They lose the essence of what made the original good. That's definitely not the case here. It's much bigger but feels just like the first movie. It's on par with the original in every way, just bigger. I said this in my review of the first movie, every moment Jim Carrey is on screen is pure gold. I wanted him to be in every scene. His facial expressions are hilarious. Whoever cast him as Robotnik is a genius. It's so perfect. I can't imagine it being anyone else. My only downsides are a few gaps in logic and parts that don't really make sense. I chalked it up to being a kids movie but that's not really an excuse. And was I the only one who thought Idris Elba was doing something weird with Knuckles' accent? It sounded like it was switching between an English accent and a heavy New York accent, and sometimes a combination of both. I couldn't stop hearing it.

Sonic movies are one of those franchises that are just fun to watch and enjoy. I never expected quality storytelling or big surprises, and this third installment felt similar to the previous parts. I had a great time watching it! Seeing these colorful characters in action on the big screen was so much fun, especially with popcorn in hand. The comedy, as always, was about 70% hits and 30% misses, but it worked for the most part. I loved how they didn’t give Shadow an average backstory or sideline his character. They actually focused on him, which was a great decision—it really added depth. The downside for me was the villains. Both the grandfather and Egghead could’ve been written to feel more impactful rather than just being used for fun jokes and fourth-wall breaks. (That dance scene, though—completely unexpected and hilarious! 🤣) I also think Knuckles (my second favorite) and Tails deserved more screen time. The movie followed the same formula as the previous ones: introducing a new character and building the story around them. But I have to say, the final action sequence was amazing—it felt like I was watching a Dragon Ball fight! In short, it’s a fun, popcorn-style movie that’s good for what it is. If you liked the earlier Sonic films, this one will definitely deliver the same level of enjoyment.

I just saw the latest Sonic movie, and wow, it blew me away! It's hands down the best Sonic film yet. Honestly, it’s one of the best video game movies I’ve ever seen. The franchise has come such a long way since the first film in 2020. It’s amazing to see how much it’s grown. The movie raised the stakes, especially with the addition of Shadow, played by Keanu Reeves. The fight scenes between Sonic and Shadow were insane—really well done. And of course, Jim Carrey as Eggman? He’s just as fun as ever. His performance is full of energy and made me laugh out loud multiple times. It’s clear he was born to play this role. The only thing I’d say is the humor sometimes felt a bit cheesy. But honestly, that didn’t really bother me because everything else was so strong. It’s exciting to think about the future of this franchise, and I can already tell this movie is going to do huge numbers at the box office. Plus, there are TWO post-credit scenes that are definitely worth sticking around for. Overall, this film is a must-see and a perfect way to close out the Sonic trilogy.

There was a point where I was torn between whether I liked this or 2 more. Even though I ended up grading this one higher, I nonetheless still feel a little torn over which I prefer. All that aside, this one definitely has the most going for it! The action, the stakes, the introduction of Shadow! All of it works to make this the most ambitious film in the franchise, and it pays off! The biggest problem I had with the first one was how watered down for kids it felt, and while none of these movies ever really escape that, there is a sense that with each movie, there’s a growing maturity and respect for the audience that I must appreciate! Overall, while I can’t confidently say Sonic 3 is my favorite of the 3 films, it’s a testament to how far this franchise has come that it stands likely as the objective best!
