I watched the latest movie from the Saw film series. Gotta say, it follows the previous similar pattern, but surprisingly, it kept me hooked throughout the movie! I'm not a big fan of gore scenes, but this one managed to keep me engaged at every turn of the plot. It's probably one of the best movie in the saw series. if you're someone who's all about finding logic in movies then skip this movie because, this might not be your cup of tea. But if you're up for a thrilling ride, definitely give it a shot!

Everything I’ve ever wanted in a Saw sequel, really the sequel I’ve been waiting for since 2010. It’s amazing to see the franchise in the hands of someone that truly, truly gets it. I knew Kevin Greutert was going to be the man, he’s been one of the pillars of Saw since the beginning. I argue the series would not be at all as distinctive and unique without the editing magic that Kevin has done over the past almost 20 years. Not to mention the fact that he has already directed one (now TWO) of the best entries in the franchise. Tobin Bell is a legend that will be remembered for generations to come, not just by horror genre fans, but by audiences everywhere. His artful performances grab me and make me feel what he feels. Bell is a true thespian and a hard worker in his craft. I truly idolize the work the man puts into every role he takes, no matter the genre, but I especially admire how much he cares about John Kramer. SAW would be nothing without Tobin Bell and his performance as this character. His chemistry with Shawnee Smith is still as real and heartbreaking as it was more than a decade ago. The pair have one of my favorite relationships in cinema, and they still tap into it effortlessly.

When you reach the 10th instalment in a franchise, you usually know what you are going to get, and its not normally going to be good. But this one is a surprise. It has all the usual blood and guts you expect from a saw movie, some interesting and disgusting death contraptions, and a lot of against the clock tension, but it also manages to get in some decent story and character arcs that make this a little more intriguing than usual Im not a massive fan of how the movie tried to get some sympathy for a deranged serial killer, but i do like how it plays with your mind a little, not really knowing who is the bad guy here, finding yourself siding with the clear maniac at some points. This is a hard one for me, because i give my ratings based on my enjoyment of the movie. If i were going just off of the movie as a whole, the story it managed to tell, and its quality against a lot of other movies in the genre, it may be a bit higher. And i will have to admit that this rating is hampered solely by my general disinterest in horror movies in general

So what brought "gore porn" into the limelight in the early 00's said, I'm going to give you a character driven 10th entry that earns its gore & traps & has you rooting for Jigsaw throughout & deliver the best entry in the series? Ok SAW I SEE YOU!
