Una buena película de animación muy original, pero que pasó bastante desapercibida, una lástima, porque está claro que haría las delicias de los jóvenes (y no tan jóvenes). Meter a Santa Claus, el Hada de los Dientes, el conejo de Pascua y el creador de sueños como un grupo de héroes, es totalmente nuevo y un acierto. La película es alegre, emotiva y tiene una animación algo distinta de lo acostumbrado pero bastante buena. Tiene buenas dosis de acción y algo de humor, se deja ver bien y no defrauda.

7.3/10 This is more of a catch-all holiday movie than a Christmas movie, but I figured I’d review it now. The jokes are sort of hit or miss. The one-liners are nothing special, but I found the bits involving the elves and the tooth fairies genuinely funny. The voice acting is hit or miss too. Chris Pine could’ve been better as Jack, but everyone else does fairly well. It’s hard for me to believe that Alec Baldwin plays Russian Santa here. The score has some genuinely memorable themes, which surprised me. The main theme almost reminds me of Alan Silvestri’s Avengers theme, which I suppose fits this movie. I have to commend this movie for its quick pace. It could have gotten caught up in certain sequences, but it doesn’t. There are some cliché plot points here. Jack gets sent away by the rest of the Guardians because of a misunderstanding, and it just comes off as predictable.
