An emotional thriller with a story that Pandi a Siddha Doctor who lives in Kodai -kanal. Meanwhile a physco path Cop is being transferred to Kodaikanal. Due to some unsettled scores in the past, Cop goes against Pandi. Then happening between them was the whole story. A very thin & simple story which doesn't had any greater potential.Slow & partly dull screenplay also fails to make this simple stry btr. 1st half had a neat & promising flow throughout with few lags & sets a gud plot for the 2nd half.Slow play doesn't remains as a concern as the this half demands that. But then 2nd half fails to pace up due to lack of intresting events and two dull flashback portions slows down the flim even more. Climax also fails to give a high with a twist or something. Overall decider 2nd half goes in -effective and ends up as very avg one. After 2 quality products like MounaGuru and Magamuni, Dir Santhakumar dissapoints in his 3rd outing. But the way he conveys his ideologies through the dialogues wr always admirable. There will be plenty of that kind in Magamuni, here its not that enough yet few of them like about ghost, Top 10 movies, book readers & few were gud. His self troll scene in 1st half was fun. Pref wise Villan charc scores more.Gud perf from ArjunDas.But some charcs in the flim were underutilised. Thaman, after scoring so many commercial flims, here his score looks so fresh. Gud songs & terrefic bgm work. Overall, this Rasavathi is definitely not up to the mark of SanthaKumar's previous flims. If intrested Keep ur expectations low and try it. PAR
