A movie that seems to have picked most of the best bits from the previous ones and put them all together. The action sequences are outstanding, and the acting is top class. A slight lack of methodical slow spy stuff stops this from being the best M:I in my eyes though.

Fallout is the best film in the series, in my opinion. The sixth installment, directed by Christopher McQuarrie for the second time in a row, delivers a film with breathtaking sequences and a film shot in IMax. A film that pushes the boundaries of the franchise with breathtaking action sequences and stunts, especially the mid-air jump and the helicopter stunt, which is simply incredible and very dangerous. The film also features France, particularly Paris, throughout its first part. The villain is brilliantly played by Henry Cavill, and we also have the return of Solomon Lane, who appeared in the previous installment. For the music, Joe Kraemer is out, and Orne Balfe is in, who created an exceptional soundtrack and will return for the next installment. Finally, the cast is the same as the previous one, except for Jeremy Renner, who will not return. Newcomers like Vanessa Kirby and Angela Basset also join the cast, and it also marks the final return of Michelle Monaghan as Julia. A film that marks a turning point in the saga, a film in which Tom Cruise was injured during filming and where he could have died during the completely crazy HELICOPTER sequence. A film that took enormous risks, both in its story and its stunts, created by a great actor who loves his job and who, in the eyes of the audience, is the best of the saga.

Henry Cavill? Oh hell yeah This is probably the one I’ve got the least to say about. It’s just really good, and I think everyone sees that. The stunt work is exceptional, the action again, there’s a big portion in the middle where it’s just chase after chase, everyone with their own goals and motivations to get things done. This movie has more twists then a damn twister but they all make perfect sense. It will trick you constantly into thinking something will go one way then do a complete 180 it’s actually impressive. Henry Cavill as one of the villains, magnificent, don’t ever let someone tell you this guy can’t play Ultraman in the DCU. But anyways this is yet another action packed nail biting movie that I enjoyed from beginning to end, this franchise is really making it hard for me to make my future ranking.
