L'Argent will tell the story of a worker who has his life "destroyed" after receiving false change notes. It is a film that exposes a lot the contradictions of capitalism and how they are themselves responsible for generating crime and violence; A worker who has always been on the margins of society (no wonder, his low and cold expression is present since his first appearance), is a character who has already lost his humanity because of his work, and who, after being arrested, intends, at the get out of prison, work even harder to support his family, but no matter how this character works himself to death, he will not ascend economically and socially, not even be able to help his family; It is a character who suffers because of people from a wealthy class, who normalize this criminality (characters who are also cold, who do not even have the ability to sympathize with others), and who still usually go unpunished, even because of a judicial system flawed. The strong greenish palettes of the film emphasize this "money", as a central factor in society, which shapes injustices and creates violence and crime.
