This is what you call a powerful movie and not the mass films we are getting nowadays. One of the best examples of what extreme Love, Power and wealth can do to a person. I am really disappointed that why these type of movies are not made nowadays. We don't need mass masala movies to show power. Gulaal is a type of movie which demonstrates its power through it's screenplay. Anurag Kashyap is a genius and the cinematography was brilliant and how the color gulal (red) was used for symbolization was brilliant. You can really see the moral of the character through the color on his face. Every character performed very well. Standout for me was Abhimanyu Singh. Man had a short role but with his acting and brilliant opening scene of his character, he was the best for me. K.K Menon was also good and I loved how Piyush Mishra was the only one speaking facts through his songs and monologues.

When there is Anurag Kashyap behind the photoplay then it should be a masterpiece and "Gulaal" is a real gem.If we watch the film in 2050 it will be relevant at that time also.Really enjoyed the acting of every person in frame specially Key Key Menon & Piyush Mishra,Aditya Shrivastav was also great.Storyline was superb.A must watch film for everyone.This film should be re released.
