Una fantástica película, con una ambientación muy oscura y siniestra, una historia curradísima y paranoica hasta llegar al punto que no sabes lo que está pasando. Tiene un final impresionante y unos efectos visuales buenísimos. Una de las películas que vieron los hermanos Wachosky (como se escriba) antes de crear "Matrix". Y posiblemente, mi película de ciencia ficción favorita.

Dark City's grand vision remained just out of grasp, never fully materializing into reality. Dark City feels like a proto-Matrix film, with its cerebral concepts, dark atmosphere, gothic visuals, and unique storyline. However, it seems to be trapped within the confines of its director's imagination, never quite breaking free to captivate its audience fully. While the visual effects pale in comparison to other films of its time like The Matrix, The Mummy, and Armageddon, one can appreciate the boundless creativity and fresh ideas that Alex Proyas envisioned for the film. Unfortunately, the final product comes across as more sloppy than groundbreaking or transformative. While some may admire its distinct vision, I personally believe that Dark City falls short of achieving classic status.
