Another one to wonder why I was allowed to watch this at single-digit age. This holds up but may require a disclaimer. Richard Pryor's writing comes through this comedic gem from start to finish as well as tons of satire and jokes along the way. Little & Wilder are a fun pair, but overall the message of how racism can drive decisions and mania in bigots is what really makes it. Obviously, this could never be made today but surprisingly only a few things are over the line by today's standards. Absolutely worth a watch for its hilarity and history in cinema. 290/365 movies & tv for 2023
