Badla (2019): This movie is an official remake and is about an interview between a lawyer and a businesswoman, which gets complexed into a murder mystery. The move is very well made. The direction, acting, and screenplay are so amazingly put together that it makes an amusing tale that is showcased through vibrant flashback sequences. The movie keeps you hooked throughout, and not even once you are feeling bored. It does a good job of unfolding the truth slowly and then giving something really impactful near the end. However, there are a few instances near the end that are highly doubtful but will not mention it to be free of spoilers. The performances of the three main leads will keep you very interested. Overall, it’s a fantastic movie. The movie did very well at the box office. With an unconventionally low budget, the film easily became a super hit. The critics reviews are mostly filled with positive ones. The audience really loved the film and gave it high rated reviews. The movie can be watched with family. There’s just one or two adultery references, casual drinking (no drug abuse), minimal adult language, and mild violence. The movie is not worth missing. It’s a great treat for all movie goers, not just suspense thriller fans.

A not so great, convinient thriller which is partly engaging. Dir uses both the possible twists at final act and among them final reveal was a downer, which can be exactly predicted even at the inital 20mins. .

The movie keeps you on your toes all the time. I literally love the combination of Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee Pannu. Excellent acting and a great story line, though I guess this one is inspired from some other movie 🤔
