Me ha encantado. Es, por lo pronto, el mejor ¨mockumentary¨ que he visto, con muchísima diferencia. Con una ambientación bestial (no se cuanto estará grabado realmente dentro de las catacumbas de Paris), pero es tremendo, atrapante, asfixiante. Consigue dar una sensación de agobio, de mal royo, y al mismo tiempo, al menos durante la primera mitad de la película, causar un interés total por ese royo ¨Indiana Jones¨ que tiene. Una película que mezcla la aventura, el terror y el estilo de falso documental de una manera magnífica. Toda la parte final es realmente acojonante. Muy, muy digna de verse.

3.2/5⭐ This movie is a good horror movie. You can feel thriller, horror, mystery most of all claustrophobia. You will constantly wonder what will happen with the feelings it gives. They prepared the scenario very well in this sense. The shots and scenes really make it immersive. However, the end of the story has a very meaningless ending. I was in the mood of what, is it over now? It's like they did it just to make it last. The movie was shot in the catacombs in Paris. The bones in the shooting scenes were real. Along with the feeling of not being able to breathe, all of these make themselves felt in harmony. What makes me sad is that it had the capacity to truly be a masterpiece.

A refreshing break from 80s slashers for this adventure with too many pretty people for things to go as planned. The set design and camera work are great and elevated completely by some of the best editing in a first person pov movie. Some great jumps and enough story to be engaging but certainly has its shortcomings with a few pieces in the 3rd act. This just hit at the right moment for me. 5.5/10 This movie suffers heavily from not following the "show, don't tell," technique. A lot of things are just said and not really shown. It also suffers from shakycam, which comes with the style of found footage, but isn't really excusable. The plot and characters aren't particularly strong either. I didn't care too much about any of them. The cult kind of just gets left in the first act and exists just to introduce the creepy woman in the white dress to the catacombs. The scares and horror themselves are fairly well done, and the solid acting heightens them. Conceptually, As Above, So Below is good. The layers of hell that they go through are interesting. However, it fails to communicate its ideas and concepts in the most logical way.

As Above, So Below is another found footage film that follows a group of explorers that venture into the catacombs of Paris only to discover more than they intended. The tension is dragged out and it will test some people’s patience but the third act was intense. Solid execution, cranking up the anxiety and giving us a wild ending. Perdita Weeks & Ben Feldman deliver some good performances, it’s nothing special but they add authenticity and help with the overall eerie atmosphere of the film. I liked how multiple characters had go pro type cameras, made certain scenes more stressful with the constant switches in these point of views and also made for some effective scares. If you like found footage films and can handle the slow burn, As Above, So Below delivers on a intense experience, especially in final act.
