A bopic sports drama with a story which is based on the life of Srilankan cricketer Muthaiya Muralidhan. Story revolves around the events starts from his early life to his 800th wicket. Happening between these to events was the whole story. A Decent story. Screenplay was slow paced at many places and also decent at times. Overall screen play was not so impressive. Narration follows a typical biography pattern that a reporter narrates about the lead's life to his juniour, who has negative thought on lead. 1st half play was slow and bit laging with few good scenes here and there.Inteval block was good. Then 2nd half was comparatively decent. There also few scenes are good but lags are also evident. Drama in climax was good. But flim doesn't excels in emotional scenes that remains as a draw back. Throughout the flim felt, many scenes were rushed too much, which affects flow. Budjet constraint is evident in many scenes. VFX work was sub par. SriLankan tamil slang was not much focused. Lead's perf remains as a concern throughout the flim. He was decent at parts but his face refuses to emotes at many places. May be VJS could have carried it out effectively. Mahima has no scope. Nazar was ok. Songs & bgm by Gibraan was dent. This will work more effectively for cricket audience. For others it may vary. If intrested in Biopic then try it. OKEYISH
