What a surprising good film for a movie staring a rapper. I think I love this film because of the really unique feel it has, its dark, its bleak, miserable, the colours are dull and its amazing world building.

It was great to see a little part of Eminem's own origin in Hip-hop through this film.

I never usually watch these type of films, I have never really looked into rap/gangster movies, but 8 mile is an exception. I’m a big fan of Eminem so I thought I’d give this movie a shot and it didn’t disappoint, it’s so interesting to see the “loose events” based on his life. The message in 8 mile is very important and a message I stand by, don’t give up ever, do not let anyone else stop you from doing something you feel is right to do. I rate this film highly and would suggest anyone else to watch it if they haven’t already.
