Pirates of Caribbean 6th part

Thugs of Hindostan really thug us.. makers know how to thug others money and time. Totally disappointed, went to watch for Big B & Amir because it was the first time this two legends coming together in big screen, but the movie wasn't worth it. Don't know how it cost 240cr for its production. VFX is poor, cinematography is okay, some songs were good. By far the best and only good thing about this movie is Katrina Kaif. Her role is small but she light up screen whenever she appeared. Suraiyaa and Manzoor-e-Khuda was totally worth watching songs. At last giving two stars, one because of Amir & Amitabh share the big screen for the first time and two because of voluptuous Katrina.

Otra de esas películas indias que sorprenden, primero por su gran presupuesto, lo cual da lugar a una ambientación conseguida, con escenarios de época muy currados, y escenas de acción muy épica al más puro estilo del cine indio. La historia no está nada mal, es algo más moderna que las que había visto hasta ahora de... ¿como llamar a esto? ¿cine épico indio? Yo que se. Hasta ahora había visto varias en épocas antiguas, supongo que el equivalente de la edad media, pero esta ya es en el tiempo de los conquistadores, con la mayor parte de la India tomada por los ingleses. Se nos presenta la historia de un pícaro, que engaña a unos y otros siempre intentado sacar la mayor tajada posible, que acaba infiltrado en el ejército rebelde que quiere liberarse de los ingleses, y ahí tendrá que tomar decisiones sobre si seguir viviendo a su modo, o encontrar su verdadera forma de ser. Buenas interpretaciones, momentos musicales made in Bollywood, mucha, mucha acción, flipadas varias y algún fallo de guión que le resta puntos a la película. No es de las mejores que he visto, pero se hace bastante entretenida.

Thugs of Hindostan is one of Bollywood's most unambitious and derivative films; it redefines the idea of an epic disaster! Less than an hour into this film, it got so boring and predictable that I began to make up vivid backstories in my head… There are three words in the title of Vijay Krishna Acharya's new film, and at least two of them are wrong. Amitabh Bachchan lumbers through the movie and looks exhausted from the burden of carrying so much armour and baritone-induced gravitas. Thugs of Hindostan is a sinking ship, and not even Aamir Khan and his Midas touch can salvage it!
