Some one behind me in the cinema stood up when this film ended and declared that they wanted their money back...It was hard to disagree. A movie rushed out just so the studio could keep the rights. No care or passion was put into this film and every aspect was so lackluster.

Never thought I’d say this but, this movie had potential somewhere deep down. As far as story is concerned, it’s pretty straight forward, unlike the 2005 Fantastic Four team, their powers were no accident, they decided to go to another dimension on their own, pretty stupid if you ask me. I thought the concept of them getting their powers from another dimension was an interesting change, but once Doom goes insane and wants to like consume earth onto that world, yeah it was pretty safe to say the concept lost me. I think what makes this version of The Fantastic Four so forgettable is that it tries to play it wayyyy too serious. Where the early 2000s movies also had their fair share of storytelling problems, at their core they were at least fun to watch. There really was nothing I was able to enjoy here, the movie feels lifeless, the characters aren’t charming in any way, the design for Doctor Doom kinda sucked, and that joke of an ending with the fantastic four title will forever be hilariously bad.
