We have reached the epic conclusion to the Harry Potter series with the Deathly Hallows Part 2. With the stakes set, does the ending satisfy and go out with a bang? Let's get popping. It's difficult to know where to start when talking about a film like this. There's been so much leading up to it, and through it all, every missing detail or plot from the book, I'm not disappointed with how it ended. Deathly Hallows Part 2 is an emotional rollercoaster with David Yates playing to his strengths and everyone firing on all cylinders. It's important we talk about Alan Rickman's Severus Snape, who delivers a heartbreaking performance and whose storyline anchors everything thematically. His death never got me until this viewing where I feel like I truly and finally understood Snape and what a tragic, complicated man he was. The fact that Voldemort left him for dead, alone in the boathouse is sad because for most of his life, he was alone. To Snape, Lily showed him kindness, and they found belonging with each other when everyone saw them as freaks. Lily would always care for Snape but not love him the way she loved James. Snape always loved Lily, and having her eyes be the last thing he sees is a gut punch. Yates's energetic action is well on display here with fantastic set pieces galore, leading to the famous final battle between Harry and Voldemort. There's so much in that sequence that rewards viewers, from Nevelle with the sword, Ron and Hermione together, and the music with Harry finally defeating Voldemort, who is played so well by Ralph Fiennes. The film is a ride that plans to please and wreck your emotions because you've grown with the characters. It makes the deaths hit harder and the stakes grand and understandable. Deathly Hallows Part 2 is a perfect finale to a beloved franchise. The acting is fantastic and this is Yates at his best. It also holds my favourite soundtrack. Getting to the end always makes me sad because I love the journey so much.

I love how everyone at hog warts is fighting for their lives and Ron and Hermione just start making out in a evil lair. I thought Harry and Ginny kissing was the most awkward thing but boy was I wrong  89/100

Bueno, digno fin de saga, única película que me ha gustado desde la tercera parte. Y es que este ¨mundo¨ no me entra, el uso de la magia en esta saga me parece muy absurdo, pero en fin... Mucha, mucha acción (al fin), buenos efectos visuales, la historia, que ya se sabía... Cosas que no me quedaron muy claras, pero en fin, que se acabó y me alegro.

A lot of the Harry Potter films are hard to rank, as they all have their great moments and are all cracking films. This one however just edges out most of the rest as it is the triumphant finale of so many hours of film. The action is great, and it really did go out in style.

I still don‘t like the whole plot. After that there are so many questions for all those ploth holes. CGI is sometimes really bad. And I really must say if people say that are great movies they are blinded. I hope the books are better and leave less questions.
