Cojonuda película de zombies, con un guion típico, pero desde un punto de vista original, con muchísimo humor negro, bastantes puntos cómicos, mucha acción, magníficos maquillajes y bastante sangre. La escena de los créditos del principio, con los zombies persiguiendo a la gente a cámara lenta mientras suena el ¨For Whom The Bell Tolls¨ de Metallica de fondo, me parece magnífica visualmente, lo mejor que he visto a cámara lenta nunca.

A great cast, a great take on the classic zombie horror movie, some authentic natural comedy thrown in for good measure, this was a brilliantly put together movie. I love the voice over style, the text on screen look, everything visually about this movie really hits the right spot for me, highly recommend as a good comedy horror.

Whilst the genre has eventually grown a bit stale, Zombieland was a smash hit and was arguably the greatest legacy of Bill Murray's Garfield films. For the most part, the film is fine but is massively carried by some fun action sequences and the performances of the main cast. Evidence of both of these can be seen in the finale which is chaotic as fuck with Tallahassee and Columbus are trying to save Little Rock and Wichita from the onrushing hoard. What follows is plenty of violence and very silly quips in a perfect metaphor for the film. Daft, crass yet weirdly heartwarming. what a perfect film. to make a sequel to nearly a decade later

Such a fun movie to watch no matter how many times you’ve seen it! The self awareness mixed with common zombie tropes and the comedy is brilliant, it makes you laugh while also being a very clever in its execution. The casting is great, the chemistry between these four was so natural and they each bring a unique dynamic to the group that makes their interactions even better. Now while Zombieland doesn’t do anything groundbreaking in the zombie genre, it thrives on what we already know and Ruben Fleischer creates a great balance of horror & humor.

Zombieland is a hilarious treat for comedy and zombie fans alike. Zombieland is a goofy spin on the hordes of zombie movies that came as a result of The Walking Dead’s popularity. It follows a zany cast of characters with big personalities thrust into a post-apocalyptic landscape. However, rather than living in constant fear and survival, it feels as if the characters consider it all another Tuesday. Their motivations are finding twinkies or love rather than escaping death. This tonal twist leads to a very entertaining, self-aware plot that takes funny jabs at traditional zombie tropes. The cast nails this tone as well, with Harrelson, Eisenberg, and Stone all delivering sarcastic yet genuine and caring performances.
