Taare Zameen Par (2007): A drama movie about a kid who struggles with academic performance that leads his parents to take further action to discipline him. Everything is crafted and executed very well. From the characters, the direction, the screenplay, the dialouges, the performances, the music and all are super memorable. No matter how many times you watch this movie, you will understand the emotions each of the characters feel throughout the movie. The main concern is portrayed greatly without holding back on how the world protrays some kids. Some of the songs are good too. The movie did very well at the box office, becoming almost a #blockbuster. The critic and audience ratings are highly positive. The movie can and should be watched with family. No matter how many times you have watched it, it’s always worth another watch! I’m

Is a movie about a boy with dyslexia that remains undiagnosed, and is neglected and abused, for one and half hour. His ignorant parents, and a battery of incompetent teachers and administrators, fail him. Finally, with an hour left to go, a magical art teacher notices what would have been apparent to anyone and takes action, much of it in slow motion. I think this would be awesome if this film was cut down to 90 or 100 minutes long, instead of 160minutes. I’ve noticed that it’s common with Bollywood movies to have such long run times, even for the most dull en generic storylines. I also don’t like the bollywood aesthetic in terms of random musical scenes and long montages. With that being said, this movie is beautiful and sad. I can see why people love this film. It's very easy to understand the complexity of a system that doesn't pay attention to specific types of children/students. Just not the biggest fan of the long runtime and the random singing. ★★★ - good movie (6/10)
