For many people this movie is a Classic, according to me, this is not enough to build something good. Despite the many nice moments, I found it boring and too silly.
Jingle all the way is definitely not my cup of tea when it comes to Christmas movies, and that’s kinda upsetting because I loved this movie as a kid. Now as an adult I see how miscast Arnold Schwarzenegger is a “relatable everyday dad”. most realistic part really was how difficult it was for all the Santa’s to take him down lmao. Following a trope of workaholic careless dad, I think the movie does work at being fun to see this guy actively trying to get his hands on a sold out toy at the very last minute, all while he’s got beef over it with this mail man throughout the movie. Some moments were kinda fun like the ball sequence in the mall for example, others a bit bizarre but I love Home Alone movies so realism is definitely something I won’t go on about.
