EN (🇬🇧) Seth and Richard are two criminals who are continually pursued by the FBI, for them the only thing that exists is to get to Mexico and, with luck, cross the border. As the "professional" criminals that they are, they manage to cross the border by hijacking a caravan and its owners, once they decide to celebrate their success, it won't last long. Film directed by Rober Rodriguez where he shows us a mixture of tequila, chilli and vampires quite interesting because this combination works very well. There are no performances to take into account as it is not the main pillar of the film. Mythical and wild scenes, good gore and make-up, although some of the vampires could be improved. With certain touches of humour, but without going over the top.

The 1996 film "From Dusk Till Dawn" is a wild and genre-defying journey that expertly combines supernatural horror with crime thriller. This Quentin Tarantino-written and Robert Rodriguez-directed film keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Salma Hayek and George Clooney are among the all-star group, so the performances are excellent, and the on-screen chemistry is visible. The film begins as a compelling crime story, but when the characters get trapped in a strip club full of vampires, it takes an unexpected turn. The special effects are horrifying yet remarkable, the dialogues are sharp, and the action is intense. A fascinating and enjoyable film, "From Dusk Till Dawn" offers a unique cinematic experience.

is truly a crime/horror movie, the switch up between genres is instantaneous and comes with a splash. I preferred the first half as it was totally a Tarantino flick however I loved the horror + mayhem of the second half quite a bit. What an absolutely kickass cast we have from George Clooney to Danny Trejo and all the way down to the legend Tom Savini. Speaking of Savini, the make-up and effects were so gnarly and well done, the crew went crazy on this. Some of the props used are iconic as well as the ridiculous production design of the biker bar, completely batshit stuff. I mean, it's a Tarantino screenplay, of course I'm going to love it! ★★★★½ - masterpiece/perfection (9/10)

6.9/10 This film becomes so much less interesting after it devolves into action/horror territory. It takes a whole hour to even introduce the vampires, and the last 45 minutes are full of apocalypse story clichés. The action is fun and all, but at the end of the day, it’s such a gross deviation from where this movie seems like it’s going that the two halves feel like completely separate films. The effects here are not the greatest. I was left questioning why they didn’t choose to do more practically, because the CGI is overused and largely looks fake. George Clooney eats up his role and gives pretty much the only good performance in the film. Everyone else hams it up to varying degrees. With a screenplay cowritten by Tarantino, the dialogue (at least in the first hour) is kept pretty engaging. I just really think this movie would’ve been better off being a crime thriller without the vampires. Their weaknesses are figured out right away and the last 45 minutes are just a bloodbath, for better or worse.
