It irritates me that people compre this to Bonnie And Clyde so often, because Bonnie And Clyde straight up set out to rob banks, and they end up murdering a shit ton of people, whereas Thelma And Louise are driven to killing one guy, after he attempts to rape one of them, and they only stole once, and it was after all of their money was stolen. Music kinda sucked.

Through most of the movie Thelma is the inexperienced, immature, chatty, and innocent one. Louise is experienced, damaged, reserved and wise. As life takes its settings at our duo, Louise realizes she just wants to enjoy the moment and Thelma begins to take charge in a world she's only begun to see. There's also a scene before they mess with the trucker and they're so obviously on a trailer for the shot and bouncing around that I think they're about to take off like the end of Grease. And of course the creepy trucker is wearing Pit Vipers. Not exactly a Pride movie, but it's a Pride movie. 264/500 movies & tv for 2024
