The second installment of Dollars Trilogy. Felt little bit better than first movie. Enjoyed very much.

Y con este chocante mensaje comienza una épica historia del salvaje oeste sobre cazarrecompensas que con el tiempo, se ha convertido en una película de puro culto. Segunda parte de la llamada ¨Trilogía del Dólar¨ del gran sergio Leone que marcó un antes y un después en el cine western y abrió las puertas a la avalancha del ¨spaguetti western¨ de la época, películas italianas que seguían las pautas de las americanas, sin tener nada que envidiarles a estas (tanto en lo bueno como en lo malo). Con 2 tremendos protagonistas como son Clint Eastwood y Lee Van Cleef, y una historia llena de acción, tiros y grandes momentos, con varios diálogos para el recuerdo y una historia que se ha hecho leyenda. De estas películas que hay que ver.

Other than the other installments of the trilogy, I was bored a little. Also had the feeling that it’s too long. Goid but not my favorite of the trilogy.

9.7/10 Basically every good thing about A Fistful of Dollars is carried over to For a Few Dollars More: the cinematography, the acting, etc. But most things are improved upon. So, you may ask, how do you top one of the greatest westerns of all time? Give the Man with No Name (Manco in this one) another great character to bounce off of, of course. Just like how Clint Eastwood is perfect as his character, Lee Van Cleef is the only right choice for Douglas Mortimer. He and Eastwood bounce off each other so well. This duo makes For a Few Dollars More a pretty big improvement over A Fistful of Dollars for me. Also, Gian Maria Volonté was good in the first one, but he really emanates the vile personality of El Indio. Almost everything is better in this one. The score is more memorable (El Indio’s theme is a personal favorite piece of mine) and significantly more epic. The shootouts (which there are more of) are also much more awesome. The ending duel between El Indio and Douglas Mortimer is a masterpiece on its own. The cinematography and pacing are just as good as A Fistful of Dollars. Again, the one, small issue with this movie is the dubbing. That’s it. For a Few Dollars More is quite literally A Fistful of Dollars but better.
